Kawasaki Heavy Industries delivers Sabrina Fair bulk carrier

Japan-based shipbuilder Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) has supplied a bulk carrier, Sabrina Fair, for Hawk Marine Corporation.

With a capacity of 61,000dwt, Sabrina Fair is 199.9m-long, 32.24m-wide and 18.6m-deep. It has a moulded draft of 13m.

The vessel’s gross tonnage is 34,515t and it has a deadweight of 61,215t. Its hold capacity comes to 77,539m³ and it can accommodate 25 crew members.

 Sabrina Fair is equipped with one set of MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9.3 diesel engines as its main engine. Its highest operating speed is almost 14.5k.

The vessel has been classified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and registered in Liberia.

 It features a flush deck with a forecastle and five holds to support the transportation of grain, coal, ore and steel products.

The vessel was delivered to Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS).

Located in China’s Dalian City, DACKS is jointly run with China Cosco Shipping Corporation.
